PolicyVera is a technology marketplace that connects insurance consumers ("Clients") with independently licensed insurance agents ("Agents"). PolicyVera LLC is not an insurance company, insurance broker, insurance agent, managing general agent (MGA), or insurance carrier. We do not sell, solicit, negotiate, underwrite, bind, or guarantee any insurance products, policies, or coverage. All insurance transactions are conducted exclusively between clients and their chosen licensed agents. PolicyVera does not recommend, endorse, interpret, or evaluate any particular agent, insurer, or policy, and does not advise you on which to choose or whether any coverage is suitable for you. PolicyVera organizes the factual details from the quotes your licensed agents submit and displays them side-by-side so that you can compare them; any agent ratings or side-by-side quotes we display are factual information for you to weigh — not our comparison, interpretation, or recommendation. We do not rank, score, or order them by suitability, and we do not advise that any quote, coverage, agent, or insurer is better, worse, or right for you — that judgment is yours, made with your licensed agent.
Quotes provided through PolicyVera are prepared by independent insurance agents and are subject to change. PolicyVera does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any quote, rate, or coverage option. Final pricing and coverage terms are determined solely by the insurance carrier and the agent.
PolicyVera verifies agent credentials as part of our onboarding process. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or currency of any agent's licensing information. Clients are encouraged to independently verify an agent's credentials with their state's department of insurance before entering into any agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolicyVera and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. PolicyVera's total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to PolicyVera in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Certain features of PolicyVera use artificial intelligence to read factual details from insurance documents — such as coverage limits, deductibles, and premium amounts — and present that data in a structured, side-by-side format. AI features do not interpret, evaluate, or compare those details; they organize the factual details so that you can compare them, and they do not provide insurance advice, recommendations, opinions, or endorsements.
Coverage details shown with a quote come from the quote the licensed agent submitted: the agent reviews those details and affirms them as their own quote when submitting — and again when editing a submitted quote — and PolicyVera does not verify them. Coverage details read by AI from documents you upload yourself have no licensed reviewer and may contain errors or omissions.
In both cases, you are responsible for confirming the details against the source document before you rely on them. Do not rely on AI-generated summaries or comparisons as a substitute for reading your actual policy documents or consulting directly with a licensed insurance agent. PolicyVera is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
PolicyVera provides secure document storage as a convenience to users. Insurance policy documents uploaded by clients or delivered by agents through the Platform are stored on behalf of and at the direction of the user (policyholder or agent). PolicyVera stores these documents solely to facilitate the services described herein and does not claim ownership of insurance carrier work product. Users may delete their stored documents at any time. Document storage is subject to the data handling practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Any disputes arising from the use of PolicyVera shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are not permitted.
All content, features, and functionality of the PolicyVera platform — including but not limited to software, source code, algorithms, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are the exclusive property of PolicyVera LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You agree that you will not:
Unauthorized use of PolicyVera's intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and may subject the violator to civil and criminal liability.
All data generated through the use of the PolicyVera platform — including agent profiles, client submissions, quote information, analytics, and aggregated data — is the property of PolicyVera LLC. Users retain ownership of the personal information they provide but grant PolicyVera a license to use such information to operate and improve the platform as described in our Privacy Policy.
Agents and clients may not export, download in bulk, or redistribute platform data without express written authorization from PolicyVera LLC.
PolicyVera reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
PolicyVera is available to users who are at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using the platform you represent that you meet these requirements.
PolicyVera operates electronically: agreements, disclosures, notices, quotes, and other communications are provided and accepted electronically — on the platform or at the email address on your account — and satisfy any requirement that they be “in writing.” You may request a paper copy of any legal document, or withdraw electronic-delivery consent, by contacting legal@policyvera.com; withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use the platform, since its services are delivered electronically.
